So we have a lot to catch up on... hence the reason we keep posting blogs. And the fact that this is addicting.
A few weeks ago we went to our first mud sale. A mud sale is an Amish auction- they had everything at this mud sale from food to clothes to snowmobiles to trees to horses.
We bought a bench ($20), a chair ($1), an end table thing ($1), three bikes ($1 each), an electric lawn mower ($7), and food storage items ($5). It was so amazing! Neither of us had ever been to a real auction before and we had so much fun bidding that we just couldn't stop ourselves. Luckily, we had two friends there who didn't buy as much as we did, and we were able to shove our booty into their cars. Oh, and the Amish icecream and chicken legs. Yummm.
You aren't supposed to take pictures of the Amish, but Isaac couldn't help himself. The little boys in their straw hats are adorable!
This picture is of the horse auction. There were tons of Amish straining to get a look at the horses up for bid. It was so fun to watch.
