Why I love the east coast...

Last night Isaac told me to stop blogging and come sit outside with him to enjoy the return of the fireflies. I love fireflies! I remember all of the times as a kid living in Wisconsin that we would go out catching fireflies, putting them in jars or rubbing them on our arms (it will make your arm glow) or throwing them really hard into a tree (it will make the tree glow). Ah, peaceful childhood memories.

I have mellowed out in my old age, so no fireflies were harmed last night. We feel bad for all our blog fans out west- we don't know how we ever made it through a summer without seeing fireflies. Guess you will just have to come visit us so you can get a taste of the good life.

Hi! This is great! And I was there to enjoy it all with you! Keri and the boys got here around noon, so things are pretty crazy! I haven't had time to start my blog yet, or Dad's, because I'm still unpacking! We saw 1 (one) firefly in DC---I think he came by just for me! Love you! Mom

Hi Sara and Isaac, what a great blog. I had such a great time with you two. I wish you lived closer. Some time in the next couple of years I'd love to bring my boys out to see you. After seeing the pictures they really want to come out. Please email me your pictures. Love you lots
