My old roommate Michelle came to visit this weekend, and we had a great time! We went to NYC for Michelle's birthday celebration on Saturday. We took the Staten Island Ferry to Manhattan, where we walked our legs off.
We went to Canal Street and China Town where we ate at this random Chinese restaurant. They wandered around with carts full of food, and you just motioned to them if you thought something looked good. And when I say "looked good", I mean "maybe I could keep that down".
We went to the Empire State Building and Times Square.
Isaac heard about this great restaurant called Mars 2112. It was really cool- you sit in this motion simulator ride and take off to Mars. When you "arrive" you are greeted by martians and enter the restaurant which is pretty amazing. I have a picture somewhere.
After church on Sunday we decided to drive around Old City for a few minutes. We found a parking spot right in front of the Liberty Bell, directly underneath a street sign that said Utah, and with an hour still on the parking meter. Meant to be? I think so.
