A few weeks ago, Isaac's cousin Mike, his wife Kendra, and little boy Kenney came for a visit! They just moved to NY and we are thrilled to have family so "close". It's funny how four hours away is close, whereas in Utah if someone lived more than 30 minutes away, it was so far away. We took them on a quick tour of downtown Philly, saw the Liberty Bell and caught the tail end of this revolutionary march:

Kenney had a great time. I am pretty sure we're his favorite 1st cousins once removed!

Isaac in his hatablockaz (allow you to stare down while blocking returning hateful glances), shuttas, or stunnaz, take your pick and stay tuned for his Philly-speak blog.

We went to the Italian Market and ate a steak at Pat's (that's right, immigration is fine with us). The highlight of their visit, however, was our trip to Costco. After Mike begged and begged, we finally gave in and had a wonderful shopping and sampling experience.

That night, we babysat our surrogate niece and nephew, Ben and Addi. The kids pretty much became best friends.

Mike and Kendra and Kenney loved Dax so much, they kept posing with him for pictures. They do make for a very cute family!

Overall, I would rate this visit as a 10. The only thing that would have made the trip better was if Mike could have shown a little bit of enthusiasm (haha).
