"Ithaca is Gorges"

We had a great time in Ithaca for Thanksgiving. We spent the weekend with Isaac's cousin, Mike, his wife Kendra and adorable boy Kenney. We had a wonderful feast and a great weekend of hiking in the freezing cold (haha) to see the amazing gorges around Ithaca.

Mike and Kendra made almost everything: the super yummy turkey and gravy, stuffing to feed an army, amazing mashed potatoes, three delicious pies, and roll tops! We brought the yams covered in marshmallows & my favorite cranberry relish.

The next day we went hiking and driving around Ithaca- it is so beautiful there!

We had an exciting evening of taste testing mint cookies. We compared Girls Scout's Thin Mints, Keebler's Grasshoppers, and the store brand. Blindly, Isaac and I chose Thin Mints as best tasting overall, while Mike and Kendra choose Keeblers.

Thanks for the wonderful Thanksgiving, Mike and Kendra! We love you guys!

How can anything compare to Thin Mints? Honestly.

that sounds like such a fun experiment - I'm totally gonna do it too - anything that gives me an excuse to eat cookies..
