I read this
article about the Rangers that protect the gorillas and it led me to
their blog. Look, I'm no hippie, but I might send a few bucks their way towards their conservation efforts. Gorillas are so cool!

Stay tuned, you might see a future update with me chained to some tree in the Congo, after all that is what hippies do, right, chain themselves to things...naked perhaps...stay tuned!

my husband's a hippy.
I believe it is spelled hippie. It is also funny that Sara's last blog features a picture of someone else's baby and my blog features a gorilla...
I was first made aware of this by catching "60 Minutes" while Channel Surfing.

On behalf of the Ogden Nature Center I would like to commend you on your awareness and support of the Mountain Gorilla. We ourselves have already planned a naked protest in April - we would love it if you could join us.
A naked protest? I don't know anything about gorillas, but I have never been one to miss a good, old-fashioned naked protest. Count me in.
I often wander what comes first, the protest or the nudity. I suspect that the people want to be naked first, then decide on something to protest. A friend of mine works for Yum! (KFC) and they had some naked protesters about the way their suppliers raise their chickens. What does nudity have to do with chicken coops?
