While the game (Super Bowl XLII) was rip-roaring riot, I (Isaac) quite enjoyed the ads! I want to know what your top 5 favorites were. You can find all of the ads here: www.myspace.com/superbowlads
Here are mine:
1) E-Trade Stock Trading Baby Spits-Up/Hires Clown. Talking babies and midgets...always funny!
2) Doritos Killer Rat. Wow, I loved the shock value and the obvious rat costume, Dorito-loving rat beating up human...always funny!
3) Diet Pepsi Max head bobbing. I don't like Pepsi, don't consume caffeine, don't like anything diet, but I loved Chris Kattan (SNL, Night at the Roxbury) getting mad 'cuz he assumes the head bobbers are making fun of his role in Night at the Roxbury.
4) Audi R8. I love cars and wouldn't mind having one of these. Never seen the Godfather, but everyone knows about the famous horse head in the bed scene.
5) Tide To Go. The shirt stain voice reminded me of Jim Carrey's voice on Bruce Almighty when he ruins Steve Carrel's newscast, nice.
Runner Ups: Fedex Carrier Pigeons, Bridgestone Screaming Animals/Wife, Career Builder Follow Your Heart.

My top three:
1. Career Builder's Follow your Heart, possibly one of the funniest things I've ever seen
2.E-Trade (I know the CEO, that's right) talking baby
3.Tide to Go's talking stain
I've never watched an entire super bowl before, thanks friends, it was fun!
Guess no one else watched the super bowl...
I didn't watch the Super Bowl but I did check out the ads online the next day. That's what it's all about anyways, right?
I gotta say, I love the talking stain. I guess it's just the HR Manager in me. I've been that interviewer way too many times where I just couldn't concentrate on the candidate over the stain. Or the food in the tooth, or dry mouth, or bad breath, or bad tie, or, or, or......
I guess I'm easily distracted.
I can't get over the obviously CGI baby mouth and eyes, it always freaks me out and I can't handle it, but I can't argue with your 2-5, probably in the same order, just bumped up 1-4. On a side note, I thought the Coca-cola add with Stewie and Underdog was really good, but it would have been perfect if at the end, the little girl with the football pulled a Lucy, and deflated the balloon right before Charlie Brown caught it. As much as we all wanted him to kick that ball, it was part of Charles Schulz creation that he was never meant to actually make contact. It's why we love him.
Ryan and Jackson's favorite was the doritos and the rat. They thought it was seriously the funniest thing they had ever seen! Ryan brought it up again just today. They laughed and laughed and made us rewind it over and over. I did watch the end of the game. Now...that was exciting! Most of the commercials didn't do much for me...but I didn't feel all that great so...it could have just been my mood.
So...our vote is the Doritos Rat.
