Today I joined the world of Facebook. I'm so addicted.
One of the students in a class that Isaac was a t.a. for often asked Isaac about being a Mormon. Isaac once told him that we don't drink coffee, tea, etc., and that Isaac doesn't drink any caffeine at all. He explained that one reason we do this is to avoid addictions. The next class this student came up to Isaac....
undergrad: So I've been thinking about how you said you don't drink caffeine because you said it can be addicting. I have a serious question that I have been thinking about a lot.
isaac: Okay...?
undergrad: Can you, as a Mormon, use Facebook?
isaac: What do you mean?
undergrad: I am completely addicted to Facebook. So, could you use Facebook, because it's addicting? I can't go a single hour without checking my Facebook account. I get so nervous and anxious if I don't check it.
isaac: Maybe you should start a club to help people with this same Facebook addiction.
undergrad: Can I start a group on Facebook?
isaac: That would kind of defeat the purpose.
I'd join that Facebook group.

I have a facebook, but I have fought off the addiction to it. Blogging is enough addiction for me.

I don't think I'd have any friends on facebook. don't you have to have friends to do this kind of stuff?
facebook is fun, but, like everything, it fades... :) real food for thought about the addictions though. I seriously do have addictions to photography websites right now.
