livin' the dream

My BFF Jenny is famous (or, as Jennifer so aptly said, Framous). She was on KSL yesterday making her amazing mittens. Isn't she fantastic?

Guess who's going to the thrift store today for old sweaters?! I made myself a promise that I was going to master my sewing machine & thanks to your fabric swap & this I have things I'm super excited to get going on! THANKS!!

Hey Sara!
I didn't get to see this segment. With a three year old at home, I get to watch Dora or Diego or whatever is on at that time, so thanks for sharing!
Thanks for letting us know about the fabric swap. I signed up right away and got my material yesterday. When I saw the address where we are supposed to send it, I said "of course. Only someone in Salt Lake would have the gumption to do this." I'm glad she is. It should be fun to see what I end up with. (I bought extra of my material so I could keep some. It's SO CUTE!)
Heard about your meeting Saturday. We'll be praying for you, harder than we usually are!
Love you guys!

Jenny truely is Frameous. Her performance outshined her previous starring role in Bonzai. I demand more Frame and less of sparkly white tooth woman. Jenny deserves her own segment. It could be called 'Crafting with JEFF, choosey moms choose JEFF'

James! You're indeed a marketing genius. Oh, and I'm truly flattered that you feel I outshined Bonzai, I thought nothing could or would ever top that brilliant mix of poetry and dead tree branches.

Speaking of crafty type things... are you the one with the little bags that go inside your purse (from the Scandinavian Festival)? I am in need of some.

We finished some of our basement a little while ago too. (Did it ourselves as well). It was very annoying (I can't think of a better word right now describe the blood, sweat, tears, sore muscles, $, that went into it.) I'm so happy for you that yours is done.

Your blog is so cute! Your adoption blog is precious. What an impressive person you are!

So I have a technical question for you: How did you make the "Our Hope to Adopt" sidebar button so that it kept the scalloped edge rather than turning it into a box. (Does that question even make sense?) In other words, I don't know how to make a non-boxy jpg.

I had a dream the other night that I was making these mittens! Actually I was only making one- I guess only one hand gets to be warm! Now I need to find some wool sweaters and really make them- two of them at a time!

I am so proud to say that I am the one who taped BONZAI at our apartment Sara. I kind of feel famous also knowing that I have that recorded but yet to give you all a copy. I'm so sorry. Yay for Bonzai and mittens!! Congrats Jenny!! You're awesome!
