we are drenched

We had 4 (!) baby showers while we were in Utah. Everyone was SO incredibly generous and thoughtful. It was so great to catch up with old friends, let Hazel meet her amazing family, and tell the adoption story (again and again... it's a good story!)

Shower Uno:
Isaac's family shower. It was great to spend time with my mom- and sisters-in-law, and see family that I haven't in a while. We had an awesome pink chocolate fountain and tons of other great food.

My mother-in-law made these 'diapers' by dipping fabric in paraffin wax. So cute!

Shower #2: Ladies from my parent's ward. We had awesome decorations (wink wink) and great treats! I wish I had taken pictures of the food spread, it was delish.

Shower #3: Shannon and Jenny, two of my BFFs, threw me an awesome shower with my friends. It was SO fun to get together with these girls that I haven't seen in years. Honestly, my friends are funny. Very, very funny.
I even met, for the first time, one of my eBFFs. 'Bout time.

Two of my old former roommates- Shanna (above) and Jill (below).
These girls used to live down the street from me in middle and high school. Becky helped get me through some tough times for which I will always be grateful. It was so great to see everyone!

Jenny made an awesome diaper cake for Haze. But then again, everything that Jenny does is awesome. Including purchasing this book and centering the theme of the shower around this one. Oh Jenny.

Shower #4: The final hurrah. My darling sister threw a shower for my side of the family, friends from when we lived in SLC, and other stragglers that couldn't make it to any of the other three. She had amazing food and super cute decorations. Keri's been waiting a long time to throw her favorite little sister a shower, and it was perfect!

Straggler Cyndi, it was so awesome to see her after so many years of "planning" to get together.

Emily and I have been friends since we were like 3 years old. I am so glad that she and her mom came, even though they were super busy planning Em's wedding the next week- congrats!!

Bunch o' ladies from Sugarhouse, keeping in touch through the blogging world.

This is my cousin Jenny. She has a crazy cool life- just check out her pictures on facebook. And look how darling she is- let's get her married :) (She's the one on the right. I'm already taken, sorry boys.)

My grandma and aunt in their matching spring outfits

Oooh, I love opening presents.

I am so bummed that I don't even have a picture of my sister, mom, sister in law, and many cousins that were there. Guess we'll have to get together again in October!

We got so many darling outfits, blankets, books, toys, diapers, wipes, you name it, we got it. Sheesh, I'd been dreaming of having a baby shower for years and years... so thank you, they were so wonderful!
