Our dearest friends picked us up from the airport, and took us home to find:
They brought pizza and bread sticks to feed us after our long day of travel- what a welcome! (P.S. Please don't move, Lakes. Really.)I spent the next few days unpacking and getting all of Hazel's clothes washed and put away.

The uber-talented Lizzy made an ahhmazing cake for Hazel. I still can't get over how cute it was!
So, now we are back to real life. We do a lot of hugging and feeding and singing and bottle washing and cheek kissing. It is lovely. Truly lovely!

What a wonderful celebration and welcome home for Hazel! The cake is incredibly cute! Hazel looks like a rolly-polly baby in that last picture. And she still has her dark hair. I sure miss holding and snuggling her--what a wonderful blessing she is to our family. I miss you and Isaac, too! Love, Mom
Oh man, I wish I still lived in Philly (we really do miss it). I will some day see this baby if it kills me! She is too too too cute.

I think Hazel will now be taking over your closet! Is there anyway you can put that cake in a shadow box and hang it in Hazel's room. It would match perfectly and is way too cute to eat!
