My parents came to visit last week and we had an awesome time. We spent a lot of time playing with Hazel, admiring Hazel, holding Hazel, and loving Hazel! She was certainly the star of the show.

After church on Father's Day, we drove up to northern PA to visit the
Aaronic Priesthood Restoration site on the
Susquehanna River. We stayed in
Montrose, the most charming little town, in this
amazing B&B.

The next morning we drove to the
Susquehanna and spent some time at the monument, river, and cemetery where Emma Smith's parents and an infant son of Joseph and Emma are buried.

I love what Oliver
Cowdry wrote:
The assurance that we were in the presence of an angel; the certainty that we heard the voice of Jesus, and the truth unsullied as it flowed from a pure personage, dictated by the will of God, is to me, past description, and I shall ever look upon this expression of the Savior's goodness with wonder and thanksgiving.

Emma's home

We also visited the
Mutter Museum (I am proud to say that I didn't pass out, though it was a close call...), watched Isaac play softball, introduced my parents to sushi, played
Rockband, and had a wonderful time!

It was so great to have them here. I miss them like
crazy!

Looks like SUCH a delightful time. Oh how some day I can't wait to go visit such sights. Just seeing the pictures I feel the spirit. That Hazel is such a beautiful little girl.
And how we miss you like crazy! We did have a wonderful time, didn't we!
I keep telling my friends that Hazel is the perfect baby--how could anyone doubt it when they see the picture of her asleep on the couch?!
Love, Mom
