sleep tight

The nursery is {mostly} finished! There are still a few final touches to make (curtains, baskets, finishing the bulletin board, etc), but I am mostly happy with the way it turned out. I don't know when Haze will actually move in here, but, much to my sadness, she is quickly out growing her bassinet.

Jen made the picture hanging on the door- so cute!

My favorite part of the room- my mom's beautiful paintings! They turned out exactly as I had imagined. She is so talented!!

And my other favorite part- Hazel's quilt. I made a matching one and gave it to Arlianne the day that Hazel was born. I love that they will always have the same quilt, made by someone who loves them both very much!

That is really amazing about the quilt, Sara. I'm sure Hazel will treasure it all her life. That is a very touching gesture. (and you did an excellent job on it)

So cute! I am dreaming up ideas for a baby girl nursery, but we don't have the room yet, I guess we had better move soon:) I love the bird theme!

LOVE it, the nursery turned out so cute! Your mom is very talented, will she paint some of those for me? :) I love the quilt idea too, your relationship with Arli is amazing.

We used that same room in our home in old Philly for a nursery too, I think it's the perfect room for one!

Little Haz looks happy as can be! :) She's as cute as ever.

Hi,
I found your blog through The R House and I wanted to say I love your photos!
I also LOVE the bird paintings your mom did! Does she sell them by any chance? I am very interested in buying if she does!

I love the color yellow! a girl gets a lot of pink so I think its fun to throw in another color. I love your creativity.... I am just starting Max's room. We painted it a while ago, but I haven't done anything with it. I am not a face paced person.
By the way, thank you for letting me and little niece come to your shower. You guys are just so much fun. I just wish you lived closer or we lived closer to you. I think we would have so much fun.

I love the ribbon you added to the birds...so cute! I can't let my girls see Hazel's room...they will be so jealous. Let's get together soon. Come to park day or something if it's nice.
