For months (years, actually) I have been looking forward to this week. Oh, be still my heart, I am so excited.
2 days from now, we'll get to hug and spend time with our sweet Arlianne.

3 days from now, we'll go to court and have Hazel's adoption finalized. This seems surreal to me. When someone asks for a birth certificate, I'll actually be able to give them one? I won't have to explain over and over why we can't get a social security card yet? And I'll be, in the eyes of the law, 100 percent a mother? Surreal. And oh, so wonderful.
5 days from now we'll be kneeling at the altar of the temple to have our sweet daughter sealed to us. For time. For all eternity. I will be, in the eyes of my Heavenly Father, 100 percent a mother for eternity. Nothing can top that.
I am in awe that all of this is really happening. This week! We are so blessed.

Congratulations you beautiful people!! :) I wish I could be part of the celebratory party in Philly, but alas, we'll just celebrate for you here in CA. :)
:) SO SO HAPPY!
I got so teary thinking about you being sealed to your beautiful daughter. What a blessing. We wish we could be there to witness it but we will be thinking of you!
So wish we could be there - sooooo excited for you!!!! Yay!
What a special week! So very happy for you and your little family.
YAY!!!
I swear this makes me want to cry every time I think about it. I'm so overjoyed for you guys!
Sara, I was talking to Mikalene the other day and she is so excited to share such a special day with you. I know it means to much that you have invited them to share in such a momentous occasion in your lives. Hazel is so beautiful and I am so proud of Arli. I think she made the best decision. One of my very best friends and her husband just got chosen to adopt a little girl. What a whirl wind. I expect that their little girl will be born at any time. I have cried and cried for their excitement. Congrats on such a great blessing in your lives!
Oh happy day! Congrats!
Sarah, I I'm so excited for you and know what a joyous day it will be for you!
I didn't know that you never got birth cirtificates (adopting from LDS family services) until 6 mo later. I knew that there was a 6 mo waiting period, but wow!
It's really neat when you have a birth cirtificate w/YOUR names on it!
Congrats!!!!
See if the temple will let you take pics w/your whites on...they let us only in the waiting room...I know each temple is different :)
Yahoo!!! I'm so happy for you guys!! What an awesome week you have coming up! :)
So happy for you this week! All the best on the big day!
How wonderful.
Unceasingly happy for your little family. Congrats.
Hi, Sara, you don't know me- I am from Samara mission, where Isaac served. Your post brought tears to my eyes and just wanted to say that I'm very happy for you guys! What a beautiful experience. Hazel is a doll. I have a six month old in my home and can only imagine how much joy Hazel brings to you. Congratulations!
I am so excited for you guys! I wish to say it will be us this week doing the same, but it will happen (and hopefully soon!) Congrats in the excitement of this day!
Okay. I have checked your blog like two to three times waiting to see how everything went! The suspense is killing me! I am just so excited for you guys!
You don't know me but I check in on your blog every now and then and it makes me cry every time. Your story and journey inspires me to be a better mother and strengthens my testimony every time about Eternal Families and how Heavenly Father really does have the right plan in store for all of us. Congrats on this amazing time for you and your family. I couldn't be happier for three complete strangers than I am for you!
