My first Christmas present came via Fedex today and Hazel was able to get some pre-Christmas training in opening wrapped gifts.
I think she was a wee bit dissappointed to see that it was just a Fedex mailer that didn't make any noises or have any flashing lights. She probably would have rather got socks or diapers than a Fedex mailer.
Someday she will come to appreciate what was really in the mailer, tickets to the Utah Jazz vs New Jersey Nets game on Wednesday! Thanks to Sara for allowing me this indulgence for Christmas and Birthday combined. I'm actually giving up NBA League Pass this year to get to sit court side at this game. I think it will be worth it. If anyone plans to watch the game, Sara and I will be sitting across from the Jazz bench around the foul line area, watch for us in green and white Jazz apparel. We will be on the second row of chairs, but we are also hoping that no one sits in front of us so we can move up a row. Lucky for me, the Nets are the most miserable team this year so we got these $750 seats for a tenth of that price!
