First up was Palmyra, NY.
the cute b&b we stayed in
haze & dan getting ready to run a race
visit to the Book of Mormon publication site
the view from Hill Cumorah. i had no idea how tall and steep it was!
After spending the day in Palmyra, we crossed the border into Canada to see Niagra Falls.
the view from our hotel room. wow!
Dan, Isaac and I went on the "Behind the Falls" tour. It was so awesome that I did a jig.
Kirtland, Ohio was next on the docket. Isaac says that of all the church historic towns, this one is his favorite.
.....the Newel K Whitney Store....
...with the School of the Prophets upstairs in a tiny room...
...and the Johnson Home (my favorite historical home- you should have seen the walls and moulding- and I didn't take any pictures!) were all amazing. Amazing.
We loaded ourselves back in the car and embarked on the last leg of our journey: Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. I had my doubts that the drive would be worth it to see a house, but it was actually pretty cool. And now my Dad can stop suggesting that we go to Fallingwater every time he visits.
Thanks for the awesome road trip, we love you!!

We sure made some great memories, didn't we?! I'm still amazed to think how great Hazel did, sitting in her car seat, for over a thousand miles in 5 days!!! Thanks for going with us--we love you!
Love, Mom
Oh, how I love Palmyra!!! I haven't gone back since the Mission....someday. What a fun trip, I bet your parents loved every minute with Hazel!
Love it! We did the Palmyra/ Niagra Falls trip a few years ago and will be visiting Kirtland again in a few weeks with my folks. I love Kirtland and Palmyra! Glad you had fun!
Glad y'all had a good time. I love those places!
the B&B looks so sweet! we did Niagara Falls last year, it's amazing!
You missed the Joseph Smith Birthplace! I guess that means you'll have to take a trip up to visit us in Vermont.
your dad just came and spoke to my youth on the Prophet Joseph Smith - it was so good! Hope you are well, your baby is growing so beautifully!
