happy (third and) fourth of july

We started off our Third of July celebration watching our cute little (and really loud) neighborhood parade. Isaac realized that we now have to be a parade-going people since Hazel enjoyed it so much.
mmm, she is so delish.
Next up on the celebration docket: cleaning the church!
At least Hazel had a darling friend and some blueberry muffins to keep her company.

After afternoon naps and dinner, we headed out to a great fireworks show.
Haze just layed on Isaac the whole time, while he plugged her ears. She loved it!
After church on the 4th we attempted a little photo shoot with the dress that I made Hazel...

...but this girl had other plans, like running around,
and playing in the ivy, which sicked me out. Ivy gives me the creeps.

That night we continued our tradition of doing some sweet fireworks with our neighbors.

Happy Independence Day!

Every year when I do fireworks with my siblings we say, "Remember when the Prices had the firework stand? Those were the best neighborhood fireworks." Ahh... good times.
