it's in the mail

Last year we didn't send out Christmas cards. With Hazel's birth and sealing announcements being sent out that year, I didn't have the time, ambition, or money to send out any more cards. Plus, I figured everyone was tired of hearing from us and seeing our smiling faces.

Well friends, this year I am going to send Christmas cards. (As I typed that sentence, I glanced down at the date on my computer and had a mild heart attack. It's November?!) Let me revise that statement. This year I am going to try really hard to send out Christmas cards. While I love designing my own cards, I have a slight hindrance this year. It is called "a 19 month old babe is attached to my leg/hip/stomach/arms/neck/back all day long and I really need to cut out some non-essential things from my life". So this year, I am jumping on the Shutterfly Christmas card bandwagon. I was surprised at how many cute ones to choose from; maybe I'll send out one of these....

(love the brown and green on this one)
(i love that this one includes a little year in review)

...or maybe I'll spend lots more time looking at even more cards and all of their party invitations and gift tags. Did I mention that it is already November?! I need to get my stuff in gear and finish up Christmas presents and plan holiday meals and parties. Thank heavens I can almost cross Christmas cards off my to do list!

How about giving it all up and coming to Croatia for Christmas? We have an air mattress! And we really miss our little darling!
