Our ward didn't have a Christmas party this year, so we joined another church for theirs. (Don't worry, we didn't actually join the church, but they sure make a mean pancake.)

Hazel loves Santa and points out every one we see, accompanied by an excited 'SANTA!' exclamation, followed by 'ho!'. She was so excited to see him while we were waiting in line....

but the excitement didn't last. 

Luckily, the balloon man was able to put some happiness back in her life with a huge candy cane.

We ended our fun morning with a pancake and sausage (Hazel's favorite food) breakfast while listening to carolers. I really think our church should put something like this on next year, and open it up to the community. It was great fun!
