I am so far behind on this ol' blog, I don't think I'll ever get caught up. We've been busy bees- visited Utah twice, had lots of visitors, Hazel started preschool, Isaac's been working and traveling like crazy, we've been trying to get Henry on a schedule, I've been editing college admissions essays, and honestly- having two kids has rocked our world!
But, here's my best attempt. Let's start in July. And oh, what a busy July it was.....
Isaac took the month off on paternity leave (best. thing. ever.) We started off the month with a trip to Utah. Henry had been crying a TON and we had been switching formulas and trying everything to make him comfortable. Finally, the day we left for Utah, we switched to the last ditch, most expensive formula available. Within two bottles, he was like a different baby. He did a great job on the looooong car ride.
When we finally arrived, Henry got to meet his grandparents and most of his cousins for the first time. It was quite the party. We had intended to stay a week and half, but ended up staying over three weeks. That's just how much fun we were having!
We started off with an early 4th of July celebration-
Hazel has never fallen asleep like this! (This was after the second week of vacation, she was so exhausted.)
Next, we headed up to Idaho for the 4th of July, a little family reunion, a 70th birthday party for my dad, and a family history tour. It was a packed weekend full of fun!

Another highlight of our trip was our Philly Phamily reunion. We got together on a Saturday night for dinner with the adults, and then had a family fun day the following Monday. It was SO great to see everyone!!!

So many comments!! I love that you had three weeks at home. Amazing. I also love the progression of Hazel pictures - the sleeping on the floor to the being sad with Henry. And strike first try? Whoa. That's a story she can tell for life. I hope you've taught her "You're a Grand Ole Flag" for her singing endeavors. And added "peace no war!" at the end, just like we used to sing on the tire swings at Falk!
