1. The Laundry Room:
Clearly, this is a work in progress. I use this to clean my clothes (see, I am doing my part to save the planet!).2. Favorite Room:
We spend a lot of time in the living room (the Wii is in here, after all), so I guess it is my favorite room. I love all of our picture albums and scrapbooks, and I love when I can talk Isaac into looking at them with me. I love just cozying up on the couch and doing nothing. (I also love that Dax followed me from room to room while I took all of these pictures. What a loyal pup.)3. What are my kids doing?
Well, I'm guessing my kids are in heaven still, so I'll blog about the other inhabitants of my house. I think Dax is pretty cute, especially how all of his toys are lined up and he is in the middle. I also think Isaac is pretty cute, especially when he is working hard in the basement!4. Favorite Shoes
A coworker keeps saying it is not appropriate to wear flipflops at work, but it's summer, and I wear these things everywhere. When my boss is around, though, I'll slip on some fancy shoes I have stashed under my desk.
5. The Toilet
Ok, I cheated here a little bit. I just couldn't post a picture with the open toilet seat, sorry. So this is what the bathroom looked like after I closed the lid. Man, that yellow and black tile is stylish!
6. The Kitchen Sink
That ice cream carton is still about 1/3 full, but my frozen blueberry waffles wouldn't fit in the freezer, so I had to throw it out.
7. Our Fridge
This is after grocery shopping on Saturday, plus a week's worth of leftovers. I cleaned the fridge last night and was tempted to take another picture of it just to compare- it is so sparkly now! (And don't worry mom and dad, that is caffeine-free coke.)
See how bare the outside of our fridge is? Don't you wish it was covered with pictures that our nieces and nephews drew and mailed to us? I sure do!! (hint hint, I need some extra love in the form of a colored picture or two.)
8. Self Portrait
Isn't my camera pretty? (And what am I doing with my pinkie?) 9. My Closet 
I've never been one to organize my closet, but a few months ago I organized everything by color and I love it! It is so easy to find exactly what I want to wear. I also love the wire Ikea baskets, they have given me so much more space. And weren't they fun to put together, Jenny?
10. Dirtiest Room 
Since our basement is under construction, our office has become our storage room. I can't wait to have a garage where we can store stuff, and I can't wait to go through each of these bins and throw half of the stuff away before putting it back in the basement!
11. Dream Vacation
If I had any vacation days left, I would want to spend them right there. (Can't we just have our family reunions in Hawaii or something?)

Hey, anytime you need to throw out ice cream because there's just not enough room in the freezer, bring it over to the Chavez house. We'll lovingly take care of it for you. (Well, Juan will until I'm off my diet.)

This is Kelly - I am Mike and Michelle's sister-in-law. So, we are kind of like family, or family of family at the very least. This morning I was bemoaning the fact that we don't have any good jam, but after seeing your fridge picture, I know where I need to visit.
Geez, if this is your house on a "dirty" day......I need to take lessons from you. It is a LOVELY house by the way! And a big fat NO I did not forget we are hanging out in August! CANNOT WAIT. Need to talk to you about that BTW. :)

Your house is so clean, if I had to do that right now it woudln't be pretty. I have laundry on the couch and toys on the floor, etc. Cute HOUSE!
My house was an apartment upstairs and an apartment downstairs. That explains why there is a kitchen sink down and upstairs and so many toilets. lol. luckily the people who had the house before us made it into a whole house..... that was sure nice of them to do that for us.
You read my mind!! I was thinking about that last night.... We haven't made any plans yet. We don't even have our hotel yet. We are planning this Sunday though. I have to nail James to the chair to do that. I am really excited and it will be great to see some familiar faces so far away, or maybe thats what you say since you live there.
