adoption, it's about blogging

Ok, so I am sure you are all sick of hearing about adoption this, adoption that... but bare with me for yet another post.

I have updated our adoption blog and have a request. I have asked this before, and only got one response, so I am trying again. I understand if you don't feel comfortable, etc., but if you are willing to do the following, we would greatly appreciate it.

On our blog, you will see there is a link for "What Others Say". Upon following that link, you will find a post that says "We would love for you to see us through the eyes of our families and friends. Please click the "comments" below to read some of their thoughts." We would like to have brief comments left by our family and friends for potential birthmothers to read.

A quick caveat. Please feel free to write anything you would like to about us, our ability to parent, our hottness, etc. But please keep in mind the birthmothers that you are leaving this comment for, and use phrases like "place for adoption" instead of "give up for adoption", etc.

It doesn't have to be some grand, wonderful comment, some amazing story, etc., just anything you would like to tell a birthmother about us.

I don't know how this will work, but I'd like to give it a try. If it seems strange, I'll take it down. If no one leaves comments, I'll take it down. I am just rambling on now, but long story short, I wanted to try. It's like reading some one's yearbook- you catch glimpses into their lives that you won't by reading what they say about themselves.

If you don't want random people following your comment from our adoption blog back to your main blog, feel free to leave your comment as "anonymous" but please still leave your first name and how you know us.

Wowza, that's asking a lot.
