happy father's day

I have been blessed with the most amazing men in my life.

First, my father. He is so hard working, fun loving, and knows everything. He treats my mother like a queen, he loves to grocery shop, he wants his kids to be happy, and he loves the gospel with all his heart. He is a wonderful example to me, to Isaac, to his children and grandchildren. He never goes back on his promises, and has even picked out a sandbox to give to Hazel (since he promised me that someday I would have a sandbox again!) Dad, I love you. A million times over.

My father-in-law knows how to fix anything! He loves to help his children build homes, fix cars, or solve any problem. We could not have finished our kitchen and electrical without his selfless help. He is always sacrificing for his children- his time, his money, his energy. I love that he gets emotional when talking about the love he has for his wife and family, and has such a strong testimony. And I must say, he raised an awesome kid....

Which brings me to my husband, the father of my daughter, my best friend. I can't say enough about Isaac. I love him. He is wonderful. He is perfect for me. He is strong where I am weak. He is patient and loving and funny and loves to serve. And this year, I have gotten to see what an amazing dad he is. Dad. He is a DAD! I love just thinking about that. Hazel lights up when she sees him. He is so gentle and playful with her, he puts her to bed almost every night, and he even sings to her when he thinks I can't hear. He is wonderful. Wonderful, wonderful. I wish I had a million dollars so I could buy you a kayak and carpet upstairs and a big tv and a yacht... instead of some lame totally awesome sweat bands. I love you a million brazillians, and more.

Happy Father's Day!
