happy thanksgiving

We headed up to Ithaca to spend Thanksgiving with Isaac's cousin and family. Little Norah is a month older than Hazel and they had a great time crawling all over the place, eating cords, and crying when big brother Kenney got in their faces with the sharing camel.

Mike and Kendra made a super delicious meal. The turkey was perfection,

and the 4 pies were mmmm mmmm good.

Hazel had her first taste of pumpkin pie, sans crust, just like mommy!

After dinner we blind taste-tested seven different rootbeers. A&W came out victorius, and Adirondak lost (I think, I might have been in a carbonation daze at that point)....

...and Isaac clearly was too.

On Saturday we went to Skaneateles, the most darling town in Upstate NY that has an annual Dickens' Christmas Festival. I am so ready to move there.

Singing carols with Tiny Tim and fam

eating chestnuts roasted on an open fire (or weber grill)

walking out to the Christmas tree in the middle of the lake

have I mentioned I want to live here?!

Isaac asked Scrooge if he was related to Scrooge McDuck, and he lost his bah-humbug attitude to laugh at that one.

First visit with Santa. Oh, be still my heart. I am so excited for Christmas with this little bug.

One tired little girl. We had such a great time and are looking forward to purchasing our mansion lakeside property.

Oh the root beer! We forgot about the root beer this year! I think one year we had about 13 kinds. Guess what I learn in the taste contest- I don't really like root beer! I am glad you had fun! Wish we could have been there too!

I'm totally gushing over little Hazel's cute eyes. Those long lashes can't be real!
