One year ago we spent the day with our families, our best friends, and Hazel's birth family at the Bountiful Temple. We have never felt such love for us and especially for little Hazel Ann. Her birth family has sacrificed so much because they love her. Anyone that doubts that adoption is really, truly about love need look no further than Arlianne and her family.
To celebrate, I am finally posting pictures from this wonderful day!

After the temple we had a spaghetti celebration lunch. Mikalene sang this song, we all cried, and Isaac said some beautiful things about Hazel and Arlianne.
Today as I prepare for our anniversary celebration and decorate our home with white balloons and streamers, I am thankful for the friends and family who came to share this amazing day with us.
I am also overcome with gratitude for the sealing power of the Temple and for Eternal Families.
