The day after Isaac's defense was moving day. Thankfully my parents had flown out the week before to help me get packed- since Isaac was MIA most of the time, and I really underestimated how long it would take to pack an entire house. And clean. And finish up all the loose ends before we took off. Oh, I don't want to relive the stress that was the month of July. Ever.
Hazel had a harder time with the actual move than I thought she would. It was very distressing for her to see all the boxes, and especially hard on her when we were selling some of our furniture. Someone came to buy our couch and she was just sobbing, "my couch, my couch, I lost my couch!" I am very grateful for friends who let Hazel play at their house during the big moving day, it would have just been too much for her little heart to handle.

| lesson learned: we have WAAAAAAY too much stuff. |
Thankfully we were able to get movers who wrapped all the furniture, loaded, stored, and unloaded all of our earthly belongings. I know the Elder's Quorum is cheaper, but let me tell you, this was so much nicer! It was like 95 degrees outside, with 90 percent humidity, and none of us had to lift a single box. Now that's the way it should be!

| thank heavens for the garbage collection that will pick up anything you leave out! |

We stayed at a hotel that night and left for Utah at 6am the next morning. We were T.I.R.E.D. But there was even more in store for us....
