There are three very special days for our family in October.
On October 8th, 2009 Hazel's adoption was finalized.
On October 9th, 2008 we spoke to Arlianne for the first time.
On October 10th, 2009 we were sealed as a family in the Bountiful temple.
We talk a lot about adoption in our house, about the sealing power of the temple, and about Hazel's wonderful birthmother. There is an extra measure of gratitude felt during these three days- we have been so incredibly blessed.
Every year on October 9th, we have our special spaghetti dinner in Arlianne's honor. This year Jenny joined in on the fun!
October 10th is our family anniversary celebration, and Hazel gets to choose what she wants to do on her special day. This year it was going out for pizza (which was just perfect for our crazy earmuff making schedule).
We are so grateful for our little Hazel Ann!
