other stuff we've been up to

• A couple months ago, my best friend from college and his wife came out to DC. It had been years since I'd seen James, so I couldn't pass up this opportunity! We went to Mount Vernon, took James and Tami to their first Thai meal, and then said goodbye. It was short, but so fun. As we were driving home, Isaac and I commented that we wished they lived closer- we could be friends in real life! It was so fun to catch up with James and get to know Tami a little bit better. Seriously guys, move out here!!

• My Uncle Doug and Aunt Barb came out for a quick drive-through visit. They were in DC and headed to NYC, so we were able to go get cheesesteaks with them and give them a tour of our loverly home. It was great to see them again, especially my hott cousin Jenny (seriously, that girl has the life of a rock star!)

• We played a lot, lot, lot of rockband, and I am counting the days when I have my energy back so we can get rockin'.

Jerome's birthday party

• Isaac challenged the YM to fast and said we would have dinner for them if they did. Jerome and Kilief pulled through (and Ebony came along), so we had a fancy dinner with steaks and hot dogs!

• I cut my hair and went on a little shopping spree.
• That's about it. Oh.. and the basement... is.... DONE (sans trim, but that hardly counts)! I'll post pictures soon. You're gonna love it.
