hazy days of summer {a bit belated}

We had a hot, busy, fun summer, and here are a few pictures to prove my point.

Hazel loves Dax. She kicks him and pulls on his ears and plays with his toes.

A few days before our best friends moved to Minneapolis, we went to a nearby state park to play and roast hot dogs in the dark. We got kicked out before we could pull out the s'mores, so we headed back to their house and made them over the bbq grill. Oh, we miss the Lakes like crazy. Only a year and a half more until we can be neighbors again (right?).

Every time our cute neighbor Mineet saw me and Hazel, she would say, "Can we please keep her? She can stay in my room. Please please please..." over and over and over until I would finally either go back inside or pretend that I was handing Hazel over to her, and she would run away.

Our pre-Priesthood Session dinner with the YM. Isaac made his delish banana pancakes which we made into sandwiches with pb, hot fudge, and banana slices. Mmm.

Hazel loves playing with her friends Cami and Julia (and loves dressing like a lumberjack).

Farewell, summer!

Cute pics. My favorite is the one of you guys on the walk with Isaac and Dax out front and the stroller barely in it. Sad to see the Lakes in pictures and know they're stinkin far away. Sad also to see me looking like a drug-dealing Russian dad, but what are you going to do?

We made your blog! Cool. I like the story about your neighbor. And I like all of your pictures. Hazel is so adorable.
