For the next two hours we were all dazzled by the animals....
hazel loved the elephants so much, she cried when they left
acrobats...
and my personal favorite, the man that was shot out of a cannon.
Hazel was mesmerized and sat still for most of the time.
We did have one minor meltdown, but nothing a beloved binky couldn't fix.
Speaking of her binky, it is no longer allowed outside of her crib. She's always had it in bed and in the car, and we've always carried one with us 'just in case'. No more! Up next, getting her off the binky at bed time... I'm not sure I'm ready yet.
And of course, no circus would be complete without cotton candy!....
...and trying to take Hazel's picture with a creepy clown while a protester is handing me a "Circus: Hell on Earth" pamphlet.

I love that I am seeing the same clothes Alex has on that cute little Hazel. And Im also glad to hear that we aren't the only ones with an almost 18 month old running around still completely addicted to a binky. Its terrible and it seems like she has wanted it more so then ever before! I really need to just chuck the things...but then Ill have to deal with the whining.
How fun! I have never been to the circus, maybe when we have kids...
Looks like y'all had a fun time. I'm probably horrible for doing this, but I confiscated William's pacifier at three months so he'd be sure not to remember it at all. Looking forward to seeing y'all in little over a month. Boards are coming way too fast!
