birthay week recap

For Isaac's birthday week, we ate (a lot), partied (a little), and he cleaned the house (which isn't very birthday week-ish).

I'm still not up to competing with this party, so I threw a simple little movie night get together with a few of Isaac's friends. It was a relaxing and enjoyable evening, but a magician would have made it that much better.

 

On Isaac's actual birthday, we went out to dinner and then took Hazel to her very first movie. That girl sure loves to move and wiggle... but she also loves to sit still and watch movies! She did really great, and wanted to sit in her own seat for most of the movie.

I was actually a day late with Isaac's cake (laaaame) but Isaac still proclaimed it the best cake he's ever eaten, and requested that I make it again for his graduation party.
