Disney World {Part 1}

We had the greatest vacation to Disney World last month. Seriously, it was so wonderful, and just what we needed amidst the job/school stress. I'm not the hugest Disney fan, so I wasn't expecting to love the parks as much as I did. Hazel was in total heaven- cousins, animals, Mickey and Minnie, ice cream, 'up and down horsies'...Oh, we just had so much fun, have I said that yet?

We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and woke up to giraffes and zebras every morning. Hazel would run straight to the porch door and say, 'morning, raffs! i wanna see raffs!' And see raffs we did!

After getting settled at the hotel, we headed right to the Animal Kingdom park where we started off the day with a Bug's Life show that totally freaked Hazel out and we had to leave mid-show with her sobbing. Luckily the day was saved with her first Mickey sighting and dancing in the parade.

We went on a wild animal safari, went on fun rides, ate lots of great food, and stayed at the park until it closed. What a day!

We ended our long day with a great dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Hazel was totally freaked out every time the fake elephants and monkeys came to life and made noises, and she made us hold hands with her through the meal. We got back to the hotel, crashed in bed, and went to my favorite park the next day...
