Day two brought our first visit to Magic Kingdom. As I mentioned in the last post, I was not a super big Disney fan, but I was so stinkin' excited to take Hazel here. We fell in love with it, massive crowds and all. A Disney fan I have become!
what would a trip to the happiest place on earth be without screaming children?
We spent the day freaking Hazel out on more rides (why did I think Pirates of the Caribbean would be a good idea?), attempting to ride Dumbo multiple times but always giving up due to the looong line, riding up and down horsies many times instead, eating, walking, shopping, and rider-swapping (best idea ever... especially if you use your one-cheat-a-day).
this one is called 'linc almost loses his head'
first up and down horsies of the day. this little angelic face with those big brown eyes... oh, be still my heart, we can go on up and down horsies as many times as you want!
I was really excited to buy Hazel a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal while we were there. I was hoping she'd be excited too, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! (One of the workers got a huge kick out of it too.)
mickey and 'mimi' are so loved and have taken place of her binky. she cannot sleep without them, and they have to follow us around all day too!
I was also very excited to get Mickey Mouse ears, and teared up at the thought of ours saying "Mom" and "Dad". I teared up a lot that day, actually. There is just something about being surrounded by your favorite people, seeing them all so happy, and not having a care in the world. The food and music don't hurt either. Can I move to Disney World?
back at the hotel... how hazel managed to be bright eyed and bushy tailed so late is beyond me!
We stayed until dark and watched the light parade before heading home, crashing into bed, and going to park #3 the next day...
