We had a most excellent, delicious, and warm Thanksgiving this year! We spent the weekend with Mike & Kendra, and Scott & Marcia who were in town visiting. Two days before Thanksgiving, Kendra gave birth (!!!!) and was home the next day and still wanted us to come (!!!!). I'll tell you what, that is one tough woman and one incredibly cute baby.

mmmm, pies. so many pies. |
The next day we did a little shopping (Black Friday isn't so fun when you are on a budget) and then enjoyed the lovely weather by spending the afternoon at the beach.

these girls are always on the move |
After searching for crab and starfish, watching sea lions, and running in the sand to our hearts content (Hazel = a lot, me = none) we went on the incredibly beautiful 17-Mile Drive along the coast and through Pebble Beach.

I am so thankful for our new home, all the fun places we have to explore, living so close to cousins, Isaac's job, and our sweet little Hazel {who is hilarious and smart and beautiful and energetic and creative and polite and thoughtful and woooonderful}.

Sara, I was seriously so excited to see this post pop up in my google reader! And your email made my day - I've been meaning to reply but have not yet. Thanks for your sweet comments. That woman who had the baby and still hosted AMAZES me! And I love Hazel's shirt - remember that's the one I got and then donated. Too fun :). I'm jealous of your CA fun - my time will come soon and I can't wait :).
