I didn't take a bike, since I didn't know how crazy it was going to be, or if Hazel was going to be able to actually ride her bike. She always amazes me- she LOVED it and did such a great job riding her little bike in the throng. I ran along behind her, and I am sure people were wondering why there was a crazy lady running in the middle of the bike ride. As soon as they saw Hazel though, everyone was cheering for her and taking her picture. She was recorded by news cameras and interviewed by newspapers. She really was the cutest little thing I've ever seen.

critical mass
Isaac came home early from work one day and suggested we head into SF to join in the Critical Mass 20th Anniversary bike ride. So, we hopped on the ferry and joined thousands of crazy people biking through the streets of the city. It turned out to be really cool, even with the few naked old men and the questionable things being smoked.

Bikers and people on the sidelines were all cheering for her and encouraging her- it was like her own parade!
