thanksgiving

For the first time in six years, we were home for Thanksgiving. We spent a lovely and delicious Thanksgiving with one side of our family....

Watching Grandma make pies... or rolls?

listening to Justin Bieber with his #1 fan (MaKayla, not Hazel)

My parents and Dan joined us for feast #1
After dinner, all the men gathered around the coupons and planned out their shopping trips. It was quite funny that the ladies didn't even get to see the ads until they were totally done- camping, hunting and survival items were the talk of the evening.

We took Hazel up to my parents to spend the night so Isaac and I could go out shopping. She was as excited about the sales as I was! (On another note, she is obsessed with this pillow case.)

The day after Thanksgiving we did it all again with the other side! Two days in a row of fresh pies, turkey, potatoes, rolls, yams, yum yum yum. I want to eat another Thanksgiving feast for dinner tonight- will someone come cook it please?
hazel is quite the tackler- she can knock me to the ground!
my mom's most delicious pumpkin pie- made for me sans crust. perfection!!
"hugging" her cute cousin. i have never seen those slippers before, I don't know where she got them.
the evening ended with a beautiful sunset viewing party

And then... home again!

hazel was a little wiped out from all the partying....

Looks like fun! I am with you - pumpkin pie does not need crust. And does your family drink caffeine now?
