After leaving my sister's house, we had a few more days until Isaac joined us in Utah. One of Hazel's favorite adventures was spending the afternoon at a children's museum, followed by rainbow ice cream.

.... Dan did such a great job copying what Hazel had written on the board! |
Before picking up Isaac at the airport, we met some dear friends at the planetarium.

Julia and Hazel were the best of friends. We miss living so close! |

followed immediately by running off in opposite directions. |
Isaac's flight was oversold, so he decided to give up his seat, earn a cool $400, and fly in a few hours later. Hazel and I had a wonderful time walking around City Creek and Temple Square. We bought Hazel her first set of scriptures and a little scripture bag- she loves them and always makes sure to bring them to church with her.

We were so happy to have Isaac back with us- a week is too long! We spent the rest of our time in Utah at the shooting range, eating, more eating, and more shooting range. I've shot a hunting rifle before, but I tagged along one day and shot my first handgun. And then I cried. It was really emotional and overwhelming for me. But I don't think I'll be going back to the range any time soon. (I am an incredible shot though, for the record.)

we were in town for Isaac's oldest nephew's birthday, so we took him out to breakfast. if only we lived closer, I could be taking nieces and nephews out to breakfast almost every week of the year! |

Another highlight of our trip was a little reunion with our Philly family. It was SO great to see these ladies (and husbands and kids too, of course!). We spent hours just laughing and catching up. Oh, I love these people!
