jesus wants me for a sunbeam

Our little Hazel Ann is now a Sunbeam! I may have stood outside the Primary room door and cried, a lot. My baby is growing up at lightning speed.

She loves primary, though occasionally says in her prayers, "thank you that I can go back to nursery".

The second week her teacher told me that she got up in front and danced while everyone else was singing. Oh, I love that girl. Last week she volunteered to give the prayer all by herself. I wasn't there to hear it (sad!) but my friend texted me right after with all the details. "Please bless us to listen and have such a fun day."  I had four other people stop me in the halls that day and tell me what a great, and cute, job she did.

She is at such a fun age. She loves to learn scriptures stories, is really good at memorizing verses, loves learning new songs, and says amazingly thoughtful and long prayers. We read the word "ponder" in the scriptures the other night, and explained to Hazel what that meant. We then asked her what she ponders about. "I ponder about.... that my friends might steal my chocolates during preschool."

She is one bright little sunbeam!
