I am a pretty negative person. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been told by my mom, husband, friends, strangers, "don't be so negative" & "you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar". My typical response is, with a roll of my eyes, "puh-lease. I am not negative, I am just realistic."
I wish I could change. I try to be more positive, or as I like to say, completely out of touch with reality. It's hard. I am quite in touch with reality.
When the doctor called today and sadly said, "it's negative", I wished I could change that too.
We're sad, but we'll keep trying. Some way, sometime, maybe something magical will happen and I will become "positive".

Ahh, shoot. You are so amazing for going through everything and putting yourself on the line just to try, so be proud. I'm sorry and hope you're doing okay. I'll talk to you soon and you guys are in my prayers all the time!

Sara...I am so very sorry. I can't imagine how much this must hurt right now. You have been so amazing through all of this. NEGATIVE is allowed for you today....and the next and the next. Sigh. . . you're probably feeling frustration and disappointment and emotional exhaustion and a number of other things and those feelings are completely valid. . . but don't give up hope. You'll need hope for the next go-round.
