lost and found

Isaac called me at 8am this morning (and yes, woke me up, such is my wonderful life) and asked me to go look for his wallet. As in, walk to the bus stop and hope that I find his wallet and credit cards somewhere along the way.

Panic started to set in as I threw on my coat and boots. I ran around the house hoping he just forgot to put it in his pocket. No luck. I braced myself to face the bitter cold and bitter disappointment of another birthday week setback as I opened the front door. There sat his wallet- someone had found it and put it in our mail slot. I love this someone.

We don't have to cancel our credit cards, get a new drivers license, or miss out on the $10 bucks of cool cash that Isaac was carrying around with him.

Birthday week hasn't been a smashing success thus far, but yay for not losing a wallet!

I'm glad that there was a very decent person walking down your street today. Did you notice anyone with wings outside?

That is awesome! And, not to sound too much like Debbie Downer (that's what AJ calls me,)just check your bank and credit cards closely for awhile. Something similar had happened to my sis-in-law and they had written down her credit card information and then used it later even though she had the card. Hope Birthday Week is AWESOME!

Usually people who ride the bus ride daily. I recommend leaving a thank you note (one that is discreet) that simply says 'thanks for your honesty and integrity." I bet it would mean a lot to them. I am glad things are looking up for your sweet family. :)
