quiet book

I made Hazel a quiet book for Christmas 2010 (yes, almost two years ago). I have been meaning to post pictures of it forever, and well, today is the day! There is one page that isn't complete, and let's be honest, at this rate it might be finished by the time she has her own children.

flowers that button on and off

the unfinished fishing hole- missing magnetic fish and a pole

barn finger puppets

dress up

matching shapes

telephone

piggy bank, has coins and 'dollars' to put in the purse and in the bank

weaving page

match the numbers

set the picnic

pick the apples, count the apples, etc

each of the letters have notes written on them

feed the girl different foods with the spoon and fork, or just play with the food

the heart has a mirror in the middle of it

We don't take it with us to church too often anymore but I am so glad I made it and am thrilled that Hazel loves it!

Sara, you are so talented!! I recognized it as a fishing hole right away, great work. My favorites are the mailbox and picnic. Love. Off to read the article next.
