spaghetti slurp

I forgot to post about this... but back in February our ward held their annual Spaghetti Slurp fundraiser for YW and Scout Camp. This year the YW were in charge, and I volunteered to do the decorations for 'Dining Under the Stars'.

The youth did a great job as servers and the dinner was a huge success (and delicious! The homemade roasted pepper sauce was to die for.) Things got intense during the dessert auction. There was a chocolate cake that went for $200+, and tons went for in the $100 range. It was such a fun night (and I wish I had remembered my camera to take some better pictures.)

keep your camera in your purse and then be sure you put it back or keep it out where you can see it to grab on your way out the door. Speaking from experience here. It eventually becomes a habit. I love how active your church is...looks like a fun night!
