As per tradition, I made a special Vday breakfast for my Valentines.
Then Isaac headed to work and Hazel and I met up with some friends for a fun Vday party. When I told Isaac about the party, he insisted that we be home by 11:30. I was sure he was going to come home to take us out to lunch.
He showed up at home with a rose for me, and a rose and a box of chocolates for Hazel. He said, "Can I take you out on a date?" and I exclaimed, "Yes!".... to which he replied, "Not you, just Hazel!" It was probably the cutest thing ever.

She was so excited to get whisked away on a special daddy-daughter date to get sushi. She looooves her box of chocolates and eats one a day.
That night we dropped Hazel off at the church to be babysat, and then headed out for dinner. We planned to go to the temple afterwards but dinner took longer than planned, so we headed out for ice cream and back to pick up our babe. It was really the perfect Valentine's Day!

Love this post! Not only because it's Valentine's Day but because I recognize your house an I've even eaten one of those chocolates. Hazel is a good sharer.
