fun in february

I haven't broken out my 'real' camera since Christmas, so here are loads more iphone photos of our life for the past little while.

picking me flowers at the park

loves playing tangoes

snuggling in her new bed, i love it! (and another explanation about the hoops, they are fixed now, I need a new picture)

we were having a tea party one morning, and about 3 minutes in, Hazel declared, 'Wait! I'm not fancy enough!'....

and she came back all fancied up!
her name in magnets, plus a 3 because she's 3, obviously.

watching the super bowl for a few minutes....

...before she needed to change into her cheetah costume. muuuuch better.

preschoolers blasting off to outer space

haze fell asleep in her bed backwards, reading her favorite book, cinderella

costco lunchdate

Princess Jasmine lost her shirt a long time ago, and has just been hanging out around the house with pants. While I never thought I'd be "that mom", the girl did need a shirt. So out came the nail polish and Jasmine got clothed. Then Hazel wanted me to paint swimsuits on her other princesses. Now they reside in our bathroom and go swimming every day. Hazel loves them! And I do wonder, why do they come with painted on undies but nothing on top? Seems strange.

practicing her letters in salt

came to me with ink all over her face and said, "I'm ready to look creepy"

playing doctor

Every Tuesday we learn a new scripture story and then do a craft or activity to go with it. This week we learned about King Benjamin. We built a tower, used her little tent, and made scrolls to pass around to the Nephites who couldn't hear.

finding 'secret messages' written on the hearts

Isaac started leaving his workout clothes on the floor for Hazel to find in the mornings. He leaves different notes or has the clothes do different things. Hazel loves it!

I let Hazel spin me at the park- and she went so fast, I was dizzy for the next 45 minutes. Won't be doing that again!

we've been doing lots of biking. i think haze is ready for a real bike for her birthday!

I talked one of my YW into teaching a ballet class once a week in a friends garage. We started last week and Hazel loves it, plus it's cheaper than her other class, so I love that.

I love that we can spend a day at the beach in February. LOVE it!

a little valentine's preschool party

We had a wonderful visit from my oldest childhood friend, Laura, and her sister Lisa. It was so great to catch up with them! We spent the afternoon together, had dinner, then went up to see the city lights from the Temple. We ended the night with some ice cream and the best hot fudge ever. It was so fun to have them, and their visit was much too short! Hazel called them 'the sisters' and didn't want them to leave!

What a great February so far...and you're caught up! I also love that Lisa and I made the blog. I totally agree, our visit was much too short.
